This work is composed of a careful assembly of feathers, each selected for their texture, tone and origin.
It features feathers from the snow goose (Anser caerulescens), magpie (Pica pica), pintail duck (Anas acuta), and various pheasant varieties including the silver pheasant (Lophura nycthemera) and Lady Amherst's pheasant (Chrysolophus amherstiae).
The composition is further enriched by guinea fowl (Numidae), Reeves's pheasant (Syrmaticus reevesii), ostrich (Struthio), grey heron (Ardea cinerea) and rooster (Gallus domesticus).
Each feather, individually chosen, contributes to the visual balance of the composition — a play of lightness, contrast and natural movement.
